My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feedforward. Other times I will share my final published pieces.

Dr Jessa rogers taking the lead activity two
Dr Jessa Rogers is a aboriganal Australian and was born on the 7th of April 1985. She never finished high school but she still went on to University and completed several degrees. Now she is the first school principal (and youngest Aboriginal principal in Australia) of the Cape York Girl Academy. On the 9th of july 2010 she won the NAIDOC Youth of the Year award. My task was to find out how old she was including the months and days. I found it confusing finding the right months and days .

Hi Caedance,
ReplyDeleteThis is a great method for working out the problem and you did it well. I like how you showed your working out in this chart, it is easy to follow and read what methods you used. Did you find any problems or struggles while figuring out the answer?

I found it pretty confusing figuring out the right days and months and then put it in a way you could understand.
